Project Summary
This private residence located in a quiet village in St. Gallen is designed to create a refined yet inviting home with a strong connection to its surroundings. Built with high-quality materials, the design plays with the balance of light and dark elements to create a calm, harmonious atmosphere that places the panoramic mountain view at the focal point.
The interplay of light was a key design element throughout the apartment. In the living room, the custom-designed microcement TV unit provides ambient lighting alongside smart storage solutions. Above the dining table, a cast-glass pendant creates subtle movement as it alters how light falls, adding depth and dynamism to the space.
The muted color palette of the communal spaces is enriched by the rich use of natural materials, continuing the conversation between nature and home. The bedrooms stand in strong contrast, designed with an explosion of color, each one a reflection of its inhabitant.
