Apartment Meilen
Project Summary
This private family apartment project was completed in two phases, adapting to the evolving needs of a growing family. The first phase, completed in 2021, focused on optimizing kitchen storage and furnishing the open kitchen, dining, and living rooms. The second phase, finished in 2024, introduced personalized storage solutions in the bedrooms and refined the hallway.
The first phase of the project concentrated on the aesthetic function of the living & dining rooms. We designed a custom-made kitchen cabinet and bespoke massive oak shelves, which added storage without creating visual mass. Accents of natural textures in black and oak created a timeless, muted base for the family to build memories on.
The wallpaper at the entrance was extended in phase two to wrap the entire hallway, setting the tone for a design that reveals itself as one walks through it. The second phase also saw the addition of custom storage in the master bedroom and the playroom to satisfy the ever-growing needs of the family.
