Project Summary
For this bright private residence in Zürich Unterstrass, we refined the space to create a more cohesive and considered home. Our approach focused on complementing the apartment’s original architecture, defined by elegant proportions, decorative detailing and the crafted character of the early 20th century. The final design established greater consistency through carefully selected materials, finishes and details.
At the heart of the design strategy was comfort: creating adaptable living environments that respond to different needs while offering all the amenities and familiarity of home. Thoughtful layouts, practical details and a warm residential character ensure that each apartment feels both welcoming and functional.
The different color themes are designed to appeal to a broad international clientele, while a consistent design language creates cohesion throughout. All furniture was custom-designed by Studio Gubler to maximize usable surface area.
