Project Summary
To create an inviting and spacious atmosphere, the wall between the kitchen and dining area was removed, allowing natural light to flow through the space and the dark cherry wood floors were replaced with light oak wood parquet. The accent colors were pulled from the client's personal art collection, ensuring a cohesive and curated look. Every element, from the sleek cabinetry to the carefully selected furniture, was chosen to balance functionality and aesthetics.
In the living room, the layout was centered around the existing structure of the bookshelf. The marble fireplace was framed by a thicker shelving system. Strategic passive lighting systems were placed around the room to create the perfect atmosphere for family gatherings.
A bold, textured carpet was chosen to give the clients existing coffee table a defined presence without overpowering the room. The flow seamlessly flows out to the balcony without interrupting the panorama, keeping the soft colors inspired by the lake and the clouds ever present.
